State of the Industry

Reflecting on 2009–a year when value-priced wines grew rapidly as U.S. consumers reined in spending on higher-priced labels–the speakers will discuss the global availability of bulk wine and its impact for growers and wineries. National economic indicators and previous cycles for wine and consumer products will be examined to assess whether 2009 buying trends are fundamental shifts in consumer behavior.
