Another Record for the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium A record-breaking 11,900 wine and grape industry professionals filled the Sacramento Convention Center during the 15th Unified Wine & Grape Symposium. But if you attended the symposium, then you saw firsthand the packed aisles on the trade show and the standing-room-only sessions. "We were very pleased but not surprised by the solid attendance number," said American Society for Enology and Viticulture Executive Director Lyndie Boulton, whose organization is a co-host of the Unified Symposium. "The Unified Symposium is well-established as a valuable industry resource for current information, and the value of that information continues to draw a strong attendance especially given the current state of our industry." "From our exhibitors, we received consistently positive comments," said Karen Ross, president of the California Association of Winegrape Growers, which also co-hosts the Unified Symposium. "The largest industry trade show in North America once again delivered a record-breaking audience for our well-valued industry suppliers." In 2010, the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium will again be held at the Sacramento Convention Center, January 26-28. For additional information, visit www.unifiedsymposium.org.

Aroma Symposium - A Sell Out!
A special Aroma Symposium was added to this year's program, expanding the Unified Symposium program to four days. And although it was a first for the Unified Symposium, all 275 seats sold out. "The response was just amazing," Dr. Andrew Waterhouse, moderator for the Aroma Symposium, acknowledged. "It was a day that offered good, solid information from an international lineup of speakers, providing our industry with invaluable information on a key topic of discussion."
