Hotel Reservation Information

The Unified Wine & Grape Symposium has arranged special room rates at the ten (10) Sacramento hotels listed on the Registration & Housing page. The hotel block will be active on October 19. In order to obtain these special rates, you must reserve a room while registering or after you have registered for the conference. Rooms often sell out well before the deadline, so reserve your room today!

MAKE RESERVATIONS

• ONLINE — Go to www.unifiedsymposium.org and select Registration & Housing from the menu. You must register for the conference at the same time.

• TELEPHONE — Call Unified Symposium housing at 800-550-1496 (within the U.S.) or 650-416-2486 (outside the U.S.).

• We no longer accept reservations by fax or mail.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• CONFIRMATION — Room confirmations will be sent by email from Unified Symposium housing during the second week of January. We caution you to check your Junk Mail inbox particularly in this time frame. If you do not receive your confirmation within this time frame, please contact Conference Registration at 800-550-1496 or 650-416-2486.

• CANCELLATION POLICY — To avoid being charged a one night cancellation fee, please note the following policy:

All hotel reservation cancellations must be received on or before December 21, 2009 to avoid a non-refundable cancellation fee for one night room and tax. After December 21, any cancellation of a booking made prior to this date will result in the credit card provided being charged. For those hotels that charge a deposit for one night at the time the reservation is made, this deposit will become the cancellation fee and will NOT be refunded if the booking is cancelled after December 21. The hotels that require a deposit upon booking are the Citizen Hotel, Courtyard Marriott and Best Western-Sutter House.

• CHANGES — Changes must be made before January 5 in writing through Conference Registration by fax (888-463-9278 or 650-416-2499) or email (registration@unifiedsymposium.org). You may also make changes online by going to http://www.amireg.com/uwgs2010/access.cfm and login using your Registration/Transaction Access ID noted on your conference confirmation email. After January 5 you must contact the hotel directly.

• Room Guarantee — A credit card guarantee is required for all reservations. Credit cards will not be charged an advance deposit except for reservations made at the Citizen Hotel, Courtyard Marriott or Best Western-Sutter House.

• Room Tax — A 12% occupancy tax plus a tourism fee up to $1.67 will apply per room per night.
