General Sessions Offer Insight Into the Future

State of the Industry General Session

Tuesday starts the Unified off with a luncheon and keynote speaker, and on Wednesday and Thursday, general sessions kick off each day.

On Wednesday, the popular State of the Industry general session provides a comprehensive look at every aspect of the wine industry, from what’s being planted to what’s selling. Mike Veseth of The Wine Economist will moderate the session and will feature speakers Nat DiBuduo, Allied Grape Growers; Danny Brager, The Nielsen Company; and Glenn Proctor, Ciatti Company. This is the most highly attended session of the Unified, so you’ll want to get there early to get a seat.

Thursday’s general session, Adapt or Go Extinct: Removing Barriers to Our Industry’s Success, will host influential and evocative speakers from inside the wine industry and beyond who will provide insights for thinking about what you can do with your vineyard, winery, and business to adapt for future success.

Parking for the Unified Symposium Just Got a Little Better

Map of Raley Field parking

The Unified Symposium is happy to announce that event parking at Raley Field in West Sacramento will once again be available with shuttle service to and from the Sacramento Convention Center. The shuttles will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days of the trade show with only a small $5 charge for all-day parking.

However, there is something new for 2017 that will make parking even better. The City of Sacramento is now offering online parking reservations at select parking garages. Three of the downtown parking garages have a limited number of parking spaces for Unified Symposium attendees. Go to and select “Browse All Event Parking” to reserve your parking space. Reserve your spot soon as parking spaces are limited.

But if you are not able to reserve a parking space, be sure to park at Raley Field. Click here for additional event parking information.
