The world of virtual conferences can be a bit intimidating
if you’re not familiar with it. By planning ahead, you can
eliminate any technological issues and get the most out of
the 2021 Unified Symposium experience. Some have found virtual
conferences to be a great way to learn and focus on the topic
without the usual distractions. Here are some simple tips to make
your virtual experience effortless:
Personalize your online presence. Upload a recent
photograph and add an engaging bio in your profile to add a
personal touch that facilitates connection.
Grab your pen and notepad. The act of writing allows
your brain to recall information better. It also gives you a
break from the keyboard!
Speak upand follow up. Make an effort to
actively participate in the conference by asking questions in
the Q & A box and scheduling video calls with vendors. Use the
week following the symposium to reach out to new connections
and follow up on exciting business prospects.
Being virtual opens Unified Symposium for more – more space, more
flexibility and more exhibitors. With concurrent sessions,
hundreds of virtual booths to visit and exhibitors to
connect with, it’s essential that you plan your calendar in
advance and get familiar with the new platform. Check out these
tips for maximizing your time at a virtual trade show:
Build a schedule. Visit this Unified Symposium Exhibitors
page to view the participating exhibitors so that you
can plan your days in advance and save time. Be sure to keep
some time open for opportunities you didn’t anticipate!
Prioritize the here and now. The chance to interact
with exhibitors in live time and make personal connections is
limited to the four days. This is your opportunity to take care
of business for 2021. Do your research before the event goes
live so you can focus your time better.
Take a break. Keep yourself energized to take
advantage of all the opportunities available to you by
scheduling downtime to digest everything you’re consuming.
