23rd Unified Symposium Proves to be Another Smashing Success

Sacramento became the center of the wine world at the end of last January when Unified drew thousands of industry professionals from all over the world. The Unified – an annual event by the industry for the industry – examines every facet of the wine industry, including the latest data, trends, issues, technology and research.

To say this year’s event was a success would be an understatement. Take a look for yourself and check out some photos from this year’s event. The Sacramento Convention Center floor had thousands roaming row after row of exhibits. Attendees also packed the breakout session rooms to learn from some of the sharpest minds in the wine business, including keynote luncheon speaker Eric Asimov, wine critic for the New York Times.

Co-presenters, the American Society for Enology and Viticulture (ASEV) and the California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG),  have been putting on the Unified Symposium since 1995 to represent the collective experience, knowledge and background of the entire industry.

The 2018 Unified Symposium will once again be held at the Sacramento Convention Center and is slated for January 23-25. Visit for more information.

We Want to Hear from You!
The Online Survey Is Your Direct Line to the Unified Planners

We want to hear from you about how we can make the 2018 Unified even better than 2017. We can only do that with your help, and the best way to do that is by filling out our online session surveys.

Each year we make numerous changes, some big and some small, as a result of the surveys. Joint sessions and exhibit hall tours are just a few of the changes that were the result of survey input.

So if there was something you liked or didn’t like or would like to see added to the Unified, please let us know so we can continue to improve your Unified experience.
