February 11, 2011 – Unified Symposium eNews

Record 12,200 Attend 2011 UW&GS

If you thought there were more people at the Unified this year than last year, you’re right. In fact there were 500 more people than in 2010. Add the 22 additional booths in the west lobby and the 2011 Unified Symposium was by far the biggest to date.

“Both the record attendance and the outlook of many of our speakers point to an upswing in the wine industry’s economy,” said Lyndie Boulton, executive director of the American Society for Enology and Viticulture, which co-organizes the event with the California Association of Winegrape Growers.

Please join us next year for the 18th Unified Wine & Grape Symposium from January 24 – 26, 2012, at the Sacramento Convention Center.

Tell Us What You Think

We are always striving to make the Unified Symposium better. While there are some things we cannot change, we want to make sure we do everything we can to make each Unified Symposium as enjoyable and beneficial as possible for everyone.

Our online session survey is your chance to provide feedback on our program and speakers. If you attended the sessions, click here and tell us what you think by February 28. A general survey to evaluate the UW&GS overall will be sent to all session registrants by email in the next few weeks.

2012 Program Development

In a few months, the Program Development Committee will begin planning the 2012 Unified Symposium program. Please let us know of your professional interests and special requests for our program by emailing info@unifiedsymposium.org.
