2021 promises to be a year of change in the US wine industry. After facing unprecedented challenges and uncertainty during 2020, staying up-to-date on information and opportunities will be more critical than ever before. You will be able to take full advantage of this session, where industry experts will share information about wine and grapes’ supply and demand, the economics of a recessive market, and strategies during times of an oversupplied industry to stay nimble.

Sparkling wine has been part of Eva Bertran’s life since the day she was born when her father placed a drop of it on her lips. Descended from a family of wine merchants, Eva was raised in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia.

Enrique Herrero
Inglenook, California

Enrique Herrero was born in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, and spent his childhood in a vineyard near his home town, San Rafael.  Enrique obtained a B.S. in Agronomy in 1988 from the Universidad de Cuyo in Mendoza, and moved to California in 1997 to obtain a Masters Degree in Agronomy and Ag Economics. In 2003, he joined Niebaum Coppola Winery as their Viticulturist. In 2005 Enrique decided to move back to Argentina in to work as the Vineyard Manager for Finca Decero, an Estate Winery in Mendoza.


Ana Keller
Keller Estate, California

Since taking over the reins in 1998, Ana works to create wines that reflect a sense of place, while in harmony with the family’s approach to elegant, age-worthy, and food-friendly wines.

In 2013 Ana joined the Petaluma Gap Wine Growers Alliance’s board and was instrumental in creating the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA) which was ultimately granted in 2018.


Stephen Rannekleiv
Rabobank, California

Stephen Rannekleiv is the Beverage Sector Strategist in the Food & Agribusiness Research and Advisory group. Mr. Rannekleiv joined Rabobank in 2006 and now leads the global beverage research team.
