This year, Wine Business Monthly Editor Cyril Penn sits down with California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross to discuss California’s agricultural sector and where it is heading through her unique lens as a 4-H kid on a farm in western Nebraska and former wine industry leader to now the twice-appointed CDFA secretary for one of the most diverse and extensive agriculture sectors in the nation. This fireside chat will explore California’s wine agriculture’s environmental stewardship, climate change adaptation and trade, and important takeaways for future business practices.
